Baseball Holds Sophomore Day Ceremony

Fourteen student-athletes on 果冻传媒 Technical Community College’s baseball team were acknowledged during a Sophomore Day ceremony on April 27 prior to a home game at the Jack F. Owens Campus in Georgetown.

Players were escorted on to the field by family and friends while their favorite memories and future plans were shared with those in attendance. Each player was also given a personalized poster presented by College Vice President and Owens Campus Director Dr. Bobbi Barends.

Players honored were Will Austin, Thomas Boyles, Colby Colwell, Nathan Donahue, Anthony Hatch, Quincy Martin, Elijah Myers, Jordan Nietfeld, Sebastian Pagan, Zakary Sophy, Carl Stump, Griffin Tracy, Nick Williamson, and Tristan Wright.

Following the ceremony, the team posted an 11-4 victory over Rowan College South Jersey - Gloucester.
