"Starry, Starry Night" Gala at Owens Campus Benefits Student Success

果冻传媒 Tech’s Owens campus hosted its annual “Starry, Starry Night” Gala on April 27 to raise money to support the purchase of high-tech classroom equipment and scholarship opportunities for workforce training certificate 果冻传媒 and international education.
“The high-tech classroom equipment provides hands-on learning opportunities for our students, while the workforce training certificate 果冻传媒 prepare students for high-demand jobs that lead to long-term employment,” said Dr. Bobbi Barends, vice president and campus director of the Owens Campus.
The live entertainment for the night was Amsterdam, a band that offered a variety of music selections for the 350 guests to enjoy. And the night would not have been successful without the hard work of many volunteers, including students and alumni, as well as the College’s talented culinary team.
The College is grateful for the support of all of its alumni and donors, including Bayhealth, Beebee Healthcare, Carl M. Freeman Foundation, and Massey’s Landing Park, Inc., who helped raise over $160,000 for student success and scholarships.
“We sincerely appreciate our donors, sponsors, and friends from the community whose generosity and support helps us deliver on our mission of keeping students at the center of everything we do,” said 果冻传媒 Tech President Mark Brainard.
